Are you ready to shine a spotlight on the stories that make Newark extraordinary? The Newark Reel Stories Challenge is your chance to celebrate the heart, soul, and creativity of our city—and win up to $500 to fuel your next project!

What’s the Challenge?
Create a 5–7 minute short film that highlights the Newark experience. Whether your style is documentary, experimental, or narrative, this is your opportunity to tell a story that captures Newark’s essence.
Criteria for Participation:
· Showcase Newark’s landmarks, culture, and rich history.
· Compete to screen your film and share your vision with an audience.
· Be available on Thurs., Jan. 23rd at 6pm-8pm for showcase and panel.
Win cash prizes:
· 1st Place: $500
· 2nd Place: $250
· 3rd Place: $150
