Please join us for a celebration of Newark’s Dodge Poetry in the Community Youth Poetry Anthology release!
This free event will celebrate the youth poets who have been writing and performing their own work as part of Dodge Poetry in the Community program this past fall which connected youth poets ages 13 – 18 from across the city with Newark-based mentor poets and Rutgers-Newark MFA candidates for a series of 10 workshops across community partner sites. Today we celebrate the release of their work in a printed anthology with a teen open-mic and party.
Food will be served at a reception prior to the event from 1-2 PM
