World premiere! What’s Left > What’s Left is a soulful hip hop musical about an aspiring rapper who’s in trouble with alcohol, the law, his job and his girlfriend. When he meets a new, seemingly perfect woman, life couldn’t be better — but when his old issues return to haunt him, he hits rock bottom in a hospital bed. A visit from the ancestors helps him acknowledge his past, break old patterns and become the best version of himself. Writer, actor and rapper Saladin of Newark created and stars in this autobiographical solo show which features original music and spoken word poetry. Adult content, no unaccompanied minors.
