The Creator’s Room is back with an amazing lineup of discussions! Last Spring the virtual series launched with panels about the importance of artist development and how creatives pivoted in the height of a pandemic.

Join us virtually on March 9th at 6pm for The Creator’s Room: Unique Pathways Behind the Scenes of Jazz as panelists discuss their unique path in Jazz music from high school student to seasoned artist. This panel will highlight NJPAC’s Wells Fargo Jazz for Teens alumni, seasoned musicians, teaching artists and professors. This panel is for artists looking to perfect their repertoire in Jazz, learn many career paths and most of all networking within arts education.

About The Creator’s Room:
The Creator’s Room Series is an intimate conversation about the journey of creator’s working behind the scenes in the arts. This virtual panel is for the audience to understand their rights as a creator and how to sustain a career as a performer, creator or administrator.

Each panel discussion will showcase up to 2 or 4 experts that will provide detailed guidance on licensing, performing rights, music streaming, marketing and monetizing your talent, understanding theater unions, artist memberships and more. Panelists will share their journey, providing useful resources for the audience.
