The IZM is a multi-genre artist from Newark. His recent release, Black Boy Wonderment, is a mash up of house and hip hop and a tribute to the late ‘80s/early ‘90s when Newark was a hub for house music.
Arthur May is a singer-songwriter from Newark and a graduate of Arts High School. His soulful sound is reminiscent of Luther Vandross, Michael McDonald and John Legend.
Derek Doll is a singer-songwriter whose work spans neo-pop and hip hop. A resident of Newark, he made history last year as the first openly LGBTQ hip hop performer at the Lincoln Park Music Festival.
Roc & The Collective is a Newark-based music group that combines jazz, R&B, neo soul, poetry, hip hop and literary expression to celebrate the Black experience and uplift the community.
