How can we create original theatrical pieces from the ideas and interests of our students? How can we create community within our classrooms? This workshop uses the basics of devised theater to explore the process of developing theater pieces using the voices of young people as its catalyst. We’ll show you how to create trust in your classroom and use devised theater activities to explore social justice issues and your students’ personal experiences.
