Pure Imagination! Exploring Creative Approaches to Music and Art in the Early Childhood Classroom

In this exploratory workshop, participants will be introduced to new activities to help students develop basic music concepts and expression through improvisation, creativity and experiential learning. Through an integrative and imaginative teaching approach, participants will make stories, poems and pictures come alive by adding an original musical score, using body percussion and by constructing musical instruments out of simple materials.
